Chris Brake
Chris Brake is currently an MA Filmmaking student at the London Film School. Chris Brake is currently an MA Filmmaking student at the London Film School. Prior to making his move into the film industry he was an illustrator for several years, exhibiting frequently at renowned LA pop culture art galleries ‘Hero Complex Gallery’ and ‘Gallery 1988’, including official shows for Joss Whedon, Joe Dante, Roger Corman, and 20th Century Fox. Chris also has a background in writing and directing for the theatre. His debut play 'The War Room' won first place at the Southern Counties One Act Festival, and went on to the semi-finals of the All-England Theatre Festival.
'Nest' is the story of an unconventional marriage; the husband is human whilst the wife has the head of a bird. When their relationship gets stuck in a rut, the husband decided the only way he can get close to her again is to become more bird-like himself.
